Take your time to explore this old gold mining town.

Beyond the original granite gutters and elaborate façades lies a vibrant heartbeat. Whilst embracing the town's history, the locals are also a very forward thinking, community minded bunch. Sustainability is an ongoing pursuit, the town is well on their way to 100% renewable energy by 2022. Community spirit and creativity are the lifeblood of this place. Painters, potters, stitchers and sculptors abound and you can't help but get caught up in the music. Drop in to a weekly jam session at the pub or plan a visit in March when the Yackandandah Folk Festival takes centre stage.
