With wide open spaces, picturesque walking trails, and plenty of areas where dogs can run and play, it's a destination made for pet lovers.
Popular off-lead spots include Little Casey Island, a natural haven ideal for roaming; the green corridor behind Psaltis Parade, a hidden gem for energetic pups; and the open grounds behind Arundel Street Oval, a favourite for free-spirited play.
To help keep these beautiful spaces clean and welcoming for everyone, dog waste bag dispensers are located at several convenient points. You'll find them near the baseball oval at the racecourse, in the Benalla Botanical Gardens (by the toilet block closest to the gallery), at the Jaycee Island RV Camping area and bridge, and at the Arundel Street Showgrounds gate. Additional dispensers are placed along the Lake Benalla walking track, near entries such as Wedge Street, Churchill Reserve from Clarke Street, and various access points around Benalla Street, Deas Street, Parkview Parade, and Arundel Street.
Please clean up after your dog and keep them under control so everyone can enjoy Benalla's beautiful parks and gardens.
