Enjoy local produce lovingly prepared whilst revelling in the majestic views from Mt Buffalo. Bright Adventure Company offer sunrise, lunch or dinner cliff picnic options available throughout the year and have two ledges available for groups of four. Ready to step it up a notch? Get your friends together and go big on the 45-meter free-hanging Dragon’s Foot abseil. Definitely a level up from our family-friendly tour, this will get your heart going as you launch off the Dragon’s Foot 45-meter free-fall abseil. The adventure is not over once you hit the ground as you then get to choose from a tight squeeze or a short rock climb to get back to the top. Add in some extra smaller abseils to warm-up on, and this is adventure plus. Still achievable for teenagers, and a good challenge for everyone!

Situated less than four hours drive north from Melbourne, Bright is the perfect location for an adventurous weekend getaway or family holiday destination. This experience is perfect for novice kayakers who are ready for a challenge. This family friendly activity is guaranteed to create unforgettable memories whilst you paddle the beautiful Ovens River which is a short drive from Porepunkah and Bright. The tour will include whitewater paddling at grades of 1 to 2 depending on water levels. Transport to the start of the kayaking trip provided. Your vehicle will be located at the end of the tour.

Over a few hours you will walk, squeeze through chimneys, scramble under, over and around boulders, climb some rope ladders and finally scramble right to the highest point on the Cathedral. After taking in some amazing views that not many people get to appreciate we have an exciting abseil right back to the ground. This is not a rock climbing tour, or an abseiling tour, though it includes a bit of both. Think of it as very adventurous bushwalking with ropes and harnesses to keep you safe. No previous climbing or abseiling experience is required but you should be ready to get up high on top of some cliffs.

The winter ascent experience on Mount Bogong, Victoria’s highest peak, in the snow. This adventure is for bush walkers and hikers who are excited to see the high country in winter. You will cover around 16 kilometres and return via the Staircase Spur track to the summit. The tour begins at Mountain Creek Camp car park which is located at the base of Mt Bogong. After making sure everyone has the right equipment for the adventure we will start the climb up Staircase Spur Track. Climb eight kilometres to the summit encountering beautiful alpine vegetation and spectacular views of the high plains.

This experience is great for everyone ages 10 and up, who have a moderate fitness level and who are ready for a challenge. We’ll start by gearing up with equipment to make you more comfortable, then take a short, scenic walk from the gorge carpark to the entrance of the underground river. You will be assisted by two experienced guides as you explore the 350 metre infill cave by scrambling, squeezing and climbing through boulders and waterfalls. You’ll find yourself wading through rock pools and gazing up at the endemic glow worms throughout the tour, which is the perfect way to spend a hot day at Mount Buffalo.

This is a perfect way to see the Ovens River if you'd prefer a more relaxed trip. The tour runs for approximately three hours and we will paddle near Myrtleford taking in some great scenery with a couple of smaller rapids near the end. If the rapids look too wild it's easy to portage around. Adults and confident kids can jump into their own single kayak, or those who'd prefer company can try a two-and-a-half seat kayak - great for up to two adults and one smaller child. Suitable for adults, and kids who are comfortable around water and weigh at least weigh 25 kilograms to fit the smallest PFDs.
