Painters Island Holiday Park has 140 powered and 40 non-powered sites, including drive through sites. There are also 23 self-contained cabins available, catering for families, couples, singles and contractors in the area.
The park covers 20 acres of picturesque land is perfectly situated for such pursuits as bushwalking, cycling, fishing, golf, four wheel driving or just relaxing. The Mountain to Murray bicycle trail starts at the park's front gate.
Painters Island Holiday Park is in the heart of Ned Kelly Country and close to historic towns such as Beechworth, Glenrowan and Rutherglen.
The Park caters to large groups and clubs as they have plenty of space and short and long-term stays, although not permanent.
Painters Island Holiday Park is an independent Park located on Crown Land founded in 1927. The Park is proudly managed by a volunteer committee, park managers and a local team. All income generated is reinvested directly into maintaining and improving the facilities for all guests to enjoy.
